Glimpses of my Art

Colour Pencil

Colour pencil Art is Wonderful

Rajiv loves to find the experience of different mediums and came to realize the magnificent result of colour pencil after meeting his Vietnamese friend Thien Su Bac Key through facebook way back in 2014. She has strictly guided with the actual rules of color pencil and he truly credited her wonderful tips. Different layers of colors are required to bring the actual tones of the picture.

To portray one of the most dynamic personalities like Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is also a great challenge to him as everyone from small kids to oldies knew him as the 21st century  superstar of the Indian cinema. This art piece of art is one of his most prestigious works created so far in colour pencil.

Graphite Pencil

Drawing with Graphite is elitist

Graphite pencil works displaying the caricatures of different friends are one his most favorite medium to pass  time and entertain people around him. Even during journeys in flight, railways etc. he used to sketch as many sketches as he can do, to enjoy the long journey. He used to sketch as many pencil portraits within just 15 to 30 minutes. Pencil portraits of living or imaginary are always impressive with master strokes.

Portraying his all time student and associate H. Dayananda Sharma is a great pleasure and paying respect to his contribution.

Oil Groups

Playing with Crayons

 LITTLE GIRL ON CRAYON

Rajiv always looks for something new to portray. Once in a hospital, a  little girl was playing with her fellow guardian she look up at him while he was busy sketching something else while he was on his own fantasy. His eye caught her expression on her innocent face. Thus, she was portrayed instantly on the spot. The best part was the sudden crowd on seeing thes pot painting with his available single crayon in hand.

Oil on Canvas

Canvas is the best medium for Oil

Working with oil medium is one of the most interesting art works for an artist. In serious themes, oil is the best option to make it classier and lasts longer. Oil paintings take more time to create and most of them are commissioned works.

Lata Mangeskar

Medium:   Oil on Canvas

Size:    2’ x3’

Motive: Inspired by the versatile voice of Lata Mangeskar, (melody queen of Bollywood industry), the painter choose to portray the legendary melody queen in her early 60’s.

Pen Scribble

Pen scribbling is the best way to relax

Journey depends on the mode of transportation from one place to another. Due to constant practice, finally scribbling works are his latest painting techniques found during one of his bus journies from Imphal to Tezpur. The rhythm of the bus with conditions of the road has made him discover and create these master strokes.

Watercolour

Playing with water colour medium

The most interesting and wonderful medium is water colour. Easily accessible and quickly dried up medium and also can satisfy many art lovers with its magical end products.

The lady’s sharp look attracts the artists to portray this picture with its skilful art strokes and colour arrangements.
